Caught in a serious Paris traffic jam – those of you who know Paris should see what it means – close to Saint Lazare railway station. Better not to use a car and take metro, my fault - but too late to change mind. Trying to escape, I entered in smaller side streets, zigzagging between one-ways and dead-ends. Waiting at a red light; look to the street name and see one of these famous blue street signs: "Rue du Général Joubert – 1769-1799 – Mort à la bataille de Novi". 30 year old, general with an impressive track record and a short live. Who says that modern life if getting faster than ever?
(Nothing to do with WAN Governance, I reckon…)
